Pastor Drew Carroll

Our Pastor, Drew Carroll, joined our staff in September, 2005 as our Associate Pastor of Discipleship and Assimilation, quickly becoming our Associate Pastor, and then becoming our Pastor in 2009. Drew is graduate of the local Aurora School District (where he met his wife, Megan, in the sixth grade!) and Cedarville University in Cedarville, OH (majoring in Pre-Seminary Bible).

Prior to coming on staff, he was a pastoral intern at Faith Baptist Church in Streetsboro, OH and owned a pressure washing business. He is currently studying via correspondence at The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary, pursuing a Master of Divinity Degree.

Pastor Drew enjoys sports, gardening, reading, playing guitar, deer hunting, watching movies, and his family, including his 3 year old daughter Meredith.

Theresa Scotton, My First School

After holding a teaching position with My First School, Theresa Scotton took on the position of director of My First School in 2009 and has continued the tradition of excellence that has characterized My First School.

Her education includes a Bachelors Degree in Elementary Education and Special Education from Hiram College and a Masters Degree in Reading from Kent State University. Professionally, Theresa has had a variety of teaching experiences from special education, to online tutoring, to preschool, to raising her own children, and believes that every experience has given her new insights into how children think and learn and grow.

Theresa, and her husband, Gary, live in Mantua with their four children. She loves to work with young children because they embrace learning with such eagerness and excitement. She looks forward to each year at My First School with the many unique opportunites to serve the children and their families.
