Junior Church

Knowing that children often struggle to stay engaged in worship services that are often programed beyond their level, First Baptist offers a special time during the worship service where children can learn more about God on their level. Following a time of singing & prayer, yet before the teaching portion of our worship service, children are dismissed to Junior Church (and parents are more than welcome to see them to their new location). All children ages 4 through 3rd grade are invited to this time, as they will learn about celebrating God's greatness, during the 2011-2012 school year. As they celebrate his greatness, they will learn about God's character, discuss how to live as his child, learn how to build a godly character, strive to understand the church, and learn about telling others about Jesus.

Junior Church consists of (1) large group time, where children engage a Bible lesson and (2) activity time, where children are challenged to respond to the bible lesson in a hands-on manner.

We hope that your children will join our own on Sundays at 10:30am, as they learn about the great God who loves them so dearly!
